It had acted as the vessel that would guide them through the Great wall, but needed the TRUE love of a human and a coralian to do so.

The very act of giving it all up made the Nirvash able to become the control cluster. Through Renton and Eureka's love the Nirvash became whole, became part human and part coralian. After their kiss, after the seventh swell that engraved their very love onto the moon, the second eye opened revealing a coralian eye. Renton's love for Eureka nearly awakened the Nirvash to it's final state (not the blue, human eye, on the Nirvash), and together their love finished the job.

Eureka and Renton's love had always been the true driving force of the Nirvash. This was the final spark the Nirvash needed, the final seventh swell that engraved the moon and send the coralians across the void into the other universe. His love for her triumphed over everything, and that was all that it needed. Renton gives it all up just to be with her. He accepts her choice, and decides he will denounce his humanity and stay with her, presumably going to the other universe with her and potentially becoming part of the control cluster. When Renton is searching for Eureka, and the Nirvash evolves for a second time into the final form in the last episode, they go to the control cluster and Renton finds her.

That's the plan, and it's the only way.ĮXCEPT that it doesn't happen that way. Even when Eureka is forced to take the place as the control cluster at the end of the 2nd last episode she knows that this is what is to happen. When Eureka and Renton enter the coralian cluster the first time, Diane tells Renton about the pocket universe and how they plan to use it to escape the limit of questions.

It's easy to think this, because every single character is banking on this outcome. I know it was what everyone thought, including me, and the other writers that wrote AO. So, I could be mistaken, but after just recently watching the end of Eureka Seven for around the fifth time, I've realized something: Eureka Seven AO could not have even happened, I think.įirst i'd like to say that I really dislike AO (and I'm sure many of you do, too), and I can think of a hundred concepts and ways to make a better sequel than whatever AO was.Īnyways, AO could not have even happened because.Įureka and Renton do not go with the majoirty of the other Coralians to the other universe.
