I am looking for suggestions of rts games that have air combat systems that are more advanced than just build airbase build bombers.Be a pioneer of aerial warfare in Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces. most rts games air combat is pretty simple build airbase then you can train fighters and bombers and that's it, I liked axis and allies where you can assign fighters to auto escort bombers so every time you send a bomber to attack something it automatically launches 2 fighters to follow it around and shoot down enemies that attack the bomber,I also liked war leaders where the bombers actually had defensive machine guns so if you have a pack of 30 bombers and the enemy launched like 2 fighters they can't just wipe out all of your bombers, war leaders also had different types of bombers, dive bombers/ medium/ heavy bombers. I mostly play strategy games and my favorite tactic is building up a huge Air Force and bombing the enemy base into oblivion, I was wondering what peoples experiences are with rts games with more advanced air combat systems.
